  3. That’s great news! Good album name and fitting artwork. So we can expect this within a month? Nevermind, don’t answer that; you’re giving a definitive release date very soon. I can be patient, I swear. πŸ˜‰ Maybe it’s been asked before, but will this be available as a physical CD too, or just a digital download? I’m content either way, I’m just curious. Thanks!

  4. Chelsea Says:

    THANK YOU!!!!

I totally screamed out loud when I saw this on Facebook. BEST NEWS EVER!!!

I’d -LOVE- a physical CD, but as long as I get the songs I’m good.

**big hug** You guys rock! My face is going to hurt from smiling so much. XD

  5. Only a few weeks left? Awesome. πŸ˜€

  6. elendil Says:

    I’m so excited!!

Thanks a lot both of you guys!

  7. Amazing! I can’t wait for this! Might be one of the most important things that has ever happened in the trailermusic world! πŸ˜€

  8. Ownworld Says:

Love the name. Thx for the news!

  11. truly amazing!!!!! I never expected an update on “The Genesis Project” so soon.. And the new name… simply perfect!! the cover is extremely promising and I can’t wait once again for this epic compilation which is going to change the terms of the trailer music industry for good!!
    Congratulations!!!

  12. Mondisto Says:

    Finally the long awaited update!
Thank you so much Thomas and Nick, love the new title and cover!

  13. Clothilde Says:

Thank you Thomas and Nick for all your efforts! I am so happy to hear that it will be released at last πŸ™‚

The new title of the album is great!

  14. Simply AMAZING!
Much better name, it has a more epic ring to it.

Cant wait…although im hoping for a physical release since im not a digital audio distribution fan.

  15. Awesome news, guys! I’m really happy it will be realesed at last and thank you for all your efforts! You and your music are great πŸ˜€

I can’t wait to see which songs will be found on the track list but I think you created a good compilation πŸ˜‰

  16. Thank you so much for doing all of this Thomas and Nick!

  17. This is a dream that finally will come true! Thanks! I’m so gonna buy this (physical cd) even if I can find 1000 working download links! After all these years of “forced stealing” from TSFH, I finally can get music from my favorite composer legally! Best news ever!

  18. ‘‘Chido!!.. ‘Fantastico!
    CanΒ΄t wait!!!.

    ‘‘Muchas Gracias!!

  19. awesome!

  20. SilverBlade Says:

Please allow us to purchase a physical CD or lossless/FLAC versions!

  21. Hopefully some of your PoD tracks will be on there. They all sound amazing (especially Earth Rising :D) but I would really like to hear them in FLAC or (hopefully) AIFF πŸ˜€

I quote a guy from Youtube, “I think we are coming into a new era of music”. This album will decide weather there is a market for this genre.

Best of luck Thomas and Nick.

  22. A question:

Was Power Of Darkness geared for editors or the fans? Seems more like it was geared towards the fans but I figured a confirmation would help πŸ˜€

From your post concerning release dates:

“Meanwhile Two Steps From Hell will continue to release new albums. Our next album is codenamed β€œPower of Darkness” and will please many of the more hardcore epic trailer music fans.”

  23. Can’t wait this is amazing! I hope you include some of your amazing
string and female ethereal voice tracks (ex: Claire Voyant) no one does tracks like that better than you!! Don’t get me wrong I love the heavy stuff
but a few string/voice pieces would be icing on the cake!

Can’t wait to buy all them.

    Kevin

  24. nemesistjb Says:

Wow! Thanks for your replies, guys! Obviously we can’t please everyone but I like to think we’ve done a decent job with the track listing πŸ™‚ There will be a few vocal pieces on the album too.

  25. Great news! That’s one i am buying.

  26. Starvoyager Says:

It’s about time! THANK YOU! Is this proof that persistence pays off? I hope so.

  27. wow, just heard about the album this morning. i have never been on such a high about music, this just shows how good two steps from hell is. thank you, thank you, thank you!!!! i have been waiting sooo long for a public album. i would love to get a copy in the shops but i live in ireland so that would be really awkward. itunes it is then. πŸ™‚

    • Danielle,

I live in ireland too and have purchased all of es.posthumus, ars arcanna and position music’s work from cdbaby who ship here. never had any problems with and would recommend them.

      • thats alright, what i meant was that it would be cool to be able to get the cd’s from shops like asda etc. i am only 16 so i have to borrow my mum’s card to buy stuff of the internet.

thanks for taking the time to reply though. πŸ™‚

  28. Haha Thomas I think you are pleasing everyone just by releasing a CD to the public!

And releasing it in just a few weeks wow…I’m glad because I might die of anticipation if it was any farther away. XD

Also, that Demo you posted on Facebook is amazing. πŸ˜€

  29. Thank you very much for this release! I cannot wait to hear it!

  30. Wow, great job. I’m excited to see the tracklist. πŸ˜‰

  31. Wow, great job. I’m very excited to see the tracklist. πŸ˜‰

  32. plsletitrain Says:

Yay! Wish to see my favorites in there! *cross fingers*

  33. Nightmare Says:

Guys, that I wasn’t expecting. So soon, so thrilled! I hope Master of Shadows and He Who Brings the Night are included!

I wish you the best of lucks on this new direction πŸ™‚

  34. Awesometacular news! Can’t wait to get my hands on that album! πŸ˜€ I just hope it will be released on a physical medium, not just in mp3’s.

  35. nemesistjb Says:

Well I guess this is what happens when you’re overworked, but I got the swineflu (yes, very 2009, I know πŸ™‚ and have been in bed for about a week now. This will delay our release, as we were planning on mastering all the tracks last week. Sorry!

    Best,
    Thomas

    • Mondisto Says:

You don’t have to excuse yourself for being sick πŸ™‚
      Hope you recovered!

    • Good health is the most important.
      Take care and get better!

    • Danielle Says:

i feel for you man, i had the swine flu as well it was awful. it lasted 3 weeks with me. all i cold do was lie in bed. but i had two steps from hell to keep me going. πŸ™‚

any possible dates for a track list release? i don’t want to pressure you, i’m just curious. πŸ™‚

    • Take as much time as you need to recover. We can wait another couple of weeks πŸ™‚

    • Just take your rest πŸ™‚

    • Oh no Thomas! Umm…idk much about swine flu but I’m sending good thoughts your way and I hope you get better soon! And take as long as you like to rest up, we completely understand.

    • No need to be sorry, dude. I hope you get better soon. πŸ™‚

  36. Thomas I wish you well with recovering πŸ™‚ ! I adore your music. But I just wanna say something irrelevant which means a lot to me so I hope you forgive me bringing it up. ‘Master of Shadows’ had a perfect mix in the 2012 trailer. However it changed twice until the final release which I’m sad to say I did not like. I was thrilled with the bits from the 2012 trailer. Is there any chance you might release that mix? Means a lot to me. That’s the track from which I found out about Two steps from hell :)))) .

  37. Thomas, I hope you get well soon.

  38. THANK YOU!! I’ve been hoping you would do this. I can’t wait to listen to this while I workout and to be honest while I pray. It’s really awesome to hear your music while praying and advancing the Messiah’s Kingdom…everytime I listen on youtube and pray, it’s warfare! Again, thanks and keep making volcanic-exploding, thundering compositions….good stuff!

  39. Wow!! IΒ΄ve been waiting so long for this moment. Your compositions are simply awesome. And also the demos of your albums which youΒ΄ve provided on your official website. No doubt that “Freedom Fighters” is probably one of the finest tracks, but I also liked what I could hear from the albums “Dynasty” and “The Devil wears Nada”. So I would be greatful if I can find some tracks of these albums on “Invincible”.

You guys have done a terrific job so far and I guess you will continue it. It would be so nice if you would compose an entire film score instead of just for the trailers. However, I look forward to further commercial releases and further stunning compositions.

  40. I just discovered this music and I am in LOVE! Just awesome. I’ll be checking for the release.

  41. I, like others here and many more that haven’t written, have waited for a long time for this. The power of your compositions and productions have meant a lot to me. There isn’t a style of music I find more exciting and creatively exhilarating than what you do. I have been on the edge of my proverbial seat waiting for this release so thank you so much. We all recognize that you don’t have to do this – but we REALLY appreciate it.

I hope you are feeling better soon and my very best to you and your family.

PS I have to agree with Peter from April 20 – I LOVED the mix used in the 2012 trailer – just say’n

  42. I saw that the two steps from hell homepage is adjusted to the new Invincible release. I really hope shipping starts soon. I really cannot wait!
    Best wishes!

  43. Mondisto Says:

    Thanks a lot, nice find!
Seems like an alternative welcome page for the website. I think they will put it online as the main welcome page when the album is out, because of the “Now available on…”.
Anyway it means the release is close now πŸ˜‰
    Thx again!

  44. @YZPR:
Thank you for this hint. How did you find out about this page?

IΒ΄m so excited about Invincible which hopefully includes tracks like “Love & Loss” and “Magika”.

  45. Nightmare Says:

It’s available now guys! For 18$, but contains 21 tracks!

  46. maranov Says:

    Hi!
I have a question: Will there be a physical CD or lossless format available anywhere? MP3 are thing of the past today. πŸ™‚ If not, will it be available when Nemesis II comes out?
Great work anyway, PoD demo is awesome.

  47. This feels just incredible for a graphic designer like myself :’]
Oficial digital booklet for Invincible: http://www.twostepsfromhell.com/TSFH_Invincible.pdf
I am amazed to say at least.
I hope a physical release follows. I love this and I sure cannot wait for the release of Nemesis II.
    Good luck Thomas!

  48. What a great tracklist! Definitely worth the wait!

In the last thread Thomas said he and Nick were “pushing hard to do physical CDs” so I’m sure they’re doing all they can to get a CD release of invincible. I’m forcing myself to wait a LITTLE bit longer for word on the physical releases before I buy. I want to hear this music in the highest quality there is. πŸ™‚

  49. Yeah, that is a great tracklist with a lot of awesome compositions. I hope there will be a physical release. It would be so great to have a CD of Two Steps From Hell in my collection.

  50. chelsea15jk Says:

Thomas! I guess you recovered from H1N1 then? I’m glad. πŸ˜€
I’ve been listening to the previews nonstop and the quality is AMAZING! I’m waiting until it goes to iTunes to buy it though.

I’ve one question – looking on the tracklist it says ‘Salt Lake Tabernacle Choir’ on a lot of the songs. Is that the Mormon Tabernacle choir?

  51. Oh, it’s finally out, I just saw it on CD Baby.

BUT WHERE IS THE PHYSICAL CD???? I so want this for my living room shelf!

Please answer, Thomas or Nick, will there be a physical CD to wait for? Or should I just buy the download version?

  52. I hope this album will be released as physical CD too. It it is, I will be very excited to collect it.

though lossy mp3 is a convenient music format, it’s a pity for releasing great music.

  53. This is awesome!
I hope it will be available as a physical CD.

  54. Sparktank Says:

Wow!! I so want to buy this album!! I just need to save up for it XD
Can anyone (who has it already) confirm if the “Am I Not Human?” track is the same cue used in the Tron Legacy trailers??
If it isn’t, that’s not going to deter me from buying it anyway =D

  55. Raphael Says:

Woww!! I really really want to buy the Physical CD. Where is it?

  56. Hey Thomas,

Thanks so much for taking the time and doing all the hard work to do a public release. Invincible is so awesome and you did a stellar job on the tracklist. As a trumpet player I love To Glory with all the heroic brass with sweeping runs underneath. Your music is full of emotion and each track is like its own story. Its really exciting each time you come out with a new piece because it is a musical adventure each time. I really enjoy your compositions because the moment you think it can’t get any better or more intense you introduce another theme that blows it out of the water. So once again great job and thanks I will look forward to buying your future solo album Nemesis II. Keep inspiring and God bless
    Isaiah 41:10

    • nemesistjb Says:

Hi Taylor, thanks so much! I’m glad you liked “To Glory”! I’m a trumpet player myself so I always pay a little more attention to that part of the music. To me composing is the ultimate adventure. I never know what will happen, or where a musical idea will go, and in many ways that’s what keeps me writing.. to find out what happens, just like with a good book. The pressure is on me not to make too many predictable musical decisions, and keep it exciting. For my own sanity πŸ™‚

      Best,
      Thomas

  57. nemesistjb Says:

Thank you so much for your support, and to everyone who bought the CDbaby release! We are working with iTunes and Amazon right now to do higher quality MP3s and perhaps a physical CD with CDbaby. There will be more options for you soon!

    Many thanks, and much love,
    Thomas

  58. nemesistjb Says:

“To Glory” featured on Invincible is from an upcoming TSFH album, currently codenamed “Eclipse” by the way.

    Best,
    Thomas

    • Hi Thomas! WOW another album alread awesome you guys are fast πŸ˜€ just a quick question I thought two steps from heaven was your next album?

  59. I just read your “Invincible” booklet and noticed that a lot of choral pieces is performed by Salt Lake Tabernacle. May ask if you are recording their performances in Utah or elsewhere? If yes, when are the next rehearsals? πŸ™‚
I would die to get to hear your pieces alive… I know, I’m not the first and not the last one who says this but why don’t I ever hear orchestra doing some sort of concerts with epic cues like yours? They always perform different operas and classics but isn’t expressive emotional music relevant to the repertoire of orchestral chorale? And one more thing, is that possible to get a hold of choral sing lyrics to your music? I know, it’s mostly in Latin but I studied this language and would be grateful if the possibility of contemplation this heavenly lyrics comes in hand. Thanks in advance, Thomas πŸ™‚

  60. Everyday I discover a further magnificent composition and each time I hope it will be released on a public album. Diabolic Clockwork is one of these tracks. Is it possible to put this track on one of your next public releases

  61. You guys are BRILLIANT!

I hope there’s going to be an iTunes and Physical release for this album also :).

  62. Cmarlow Says:

I’ve looked everywhere for the album on iTunes and Amazon bur no luck. Anyone have a link?

  63. @Cmarlow:
Well, it was said that the album will be available on Amazon and iTunes a few days later. For the moment you will find “Invincible” only on CDBaby.

    From TSFH on Facebook:
“Hi, the album will be released on iTunes and amazon a little later, we want to make sure it is sold at the highest possible quality.”

  64. I just downloaded “Invincible” from amazon and it is such a beautiful and powerful album. Thank you TSFH!!

  65. Valerie Says:

I have also just downloaded Invincible from Amazon. It is awesome!! Incredible songs and quality.
Thank you sooo much Thomas and TSFH!!! πŸ™‚

  66. I know that the release of “Invincible” was just a few days ago but I discovered the track “Merchant Prince” on TSFHΒ΄s facebook page. I love this track and I heard that it will be part of your second public album. Can you give us an approximate release date for Nemsis II?

  67. beyondlsx Says:

I’m so happy, thank you so much Thomas and Nick.

  68. A huge and deep thank you for this gift, sharing publicly your divine music with us…I have felt grateful and lucky to have had the chance of knowing your wonderful music since the day I saw the trailer of “Inkheart”, where “Protectors of the earth” made me fall in love hopelessly with your creations, so you can imagine that I have been waiting for this moment for such a long time…and the way I feel listening now to this superb album just can’t be expressed in proper words….I really hope that now more people will get to know you and your amazing works, because you deserve it and because it is so worth it!!!! Just keep going on the way you are, with all the enthusiasm and passion that you put in your works and the fun that I suppose you have composing (and if, in the future you’d want to share with us other epic tracks of course we won’t complain;-) )…I just wish you good luck with your next projects and simply all the best for all the rest, because you deserve it!!! Thank you, and lots of love from Italy, Chiara

  69. Thank you SO very much for this release. Like the poster before me, I have been a fan since I saw the “Inkheart” trailer featuring “Protectors of the Earth” and another of your compositions although the title escapes me. Keep up the great work!

  70. Hi-

I also want to thank you for all of your compositions. I suppose my English is not even good enough to express all the positive feelings that come to my mind when thinking/ listening about/ to your music, but this “Thank you” comes from my heart.

However, I really want to encourage you to think again about a physical distribution. Honestly, I do not understand why many producers of high-end orchestral music like you and f.ex. Hans Zimmer are even considering using lossy formats like mp3/ mp4. Even if some people state that these formats are sufficient for about any type of music, they are just not- its proven. They lessen the quality of about any given orchestral cue and that to me is reason enough NOT to buy Invicible yet because your compositions deserve to be heard in the best quality possible. (Don’t think money would be an issue here as well.)

So please either reconsider a physical release or if you already do, just give some feedback as to how far your actions/ thoughts have already taken shape.

    Sincerely,
    Jan

  71. Hey Thomas! I would tell you how much i love the album, but I think the review I wrote for Trailer Music news says it best! http://trailermusicnews.com/review/two-steps-hell-invincible

  72. Thanks for this great album but we want a CD please!!

  73. At last! Thanks so much for this release.

Purchasing now. But, as countless others have stated, a physical CD would be such a great addition (gift, collectible, sound quality… the list goes on).

  74. Invincible is incredible!! although I expected lots of songs to show up.. Guess they didn’t make it to the finals πŸ˜›
anyway, wouldn’t it be great if you guys released a booklet of invincible with the lyrices of the tracks? I’m sure many of us would like to get our hands on them! πŸ™‚

    • *lyrics

      • Clothilde Says:

A booklet with the lyrics would be interesting indeed πŸ™‚ but don’t forget that sometimes no real language is used in the tracks, only made up language, which means there are no “real” lyrics for some tracks (on one hand, it’s sad, but on the other hand, I guess that made up language is used to make the singing, the choir sound more beautiful and powerful :D)

  75. the made up language doesn’t bother me! I wish they would give us the lyrics.. Even if it’s not for all of the songs

  76. Just bought the album off Amazon, and I absolutely love it. NEED MORE!

  77. Hi may i suggest some tracks to be released on the next public album perhaps?

  78. Power of Darkness is finally streaming on ExtremeMusic.com in case anyone missed it.

  79. I really love your music, but I hate buying music online, with no hard cover…

PLEASE, release your next album also as CD!

  80. I realize this comment is seriously late, but I want to say thank you. Silly as it sounds, your music was the primary thing that captured and kept my interest in the new “Star Trek” movie; I might well have given it a miss otherwise.

And now a fair selection of tracks is available for purchase? Even better!

I can only hope still more will be made available in the future. Thanks again to the entire group. You’ve actually re-awakened my interest in cinema again.

  81. Orpheus Says:

About the physical CD… I read a lot of those comments mentioning a potential release of a CD (or a lossless downloadable format?) in addition to the amazon MP3s. That would be most welcome. Especially sensational music like that should really be enjoyed on a good HiFi system… for which it would be good to know that you own the best available music quality. I do not want to listen to the MP3s when I know there will maybe be a higher-quality release in the close future. Have any of you guys new information? Is it realistic that there will still be a lossless release soon?

Man. I cannot wait. And I’ve been here since the blog started. But the tiny chance of getting a CD still leaves me some patience (and a lot of pleasant anticipation:)

  82. Just bought it from Amazon. THANK YOU!!! You two guys are F*UCKING AWESOME!!!!

And yeah, i also would prefer a physical copy. Yeah, i would even buy it twice, if i get a physical copy.

  83. Hellboy Says:

First of all, thanks so much for this release.
But give us a Physical CD. Online Music sucks

  84. Cloud Maker from the new album Illumina is awesome and should be published on one of your next public releases if possible.

  85. I must say I discovered your music on the Star Trek trailer and was floored. I’ve listened to alot of epic tailer music but your sound is so unique and well made. The passion is amazing in all of your work. Art inspires art. I am a professional illustrator and concept artist working in flim and games and when I create my worlds I have your music playing. Thank you very much for the inspiration and feel free to visit my site. If you are thinking of making a few songs available for liscensing to the public please let us know. Is the music on “Invincible”? available for liscensing to the public? contact me privately if you wish?

    all the best

  86. I HOPE YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THOMAS!!!!!!!!!

  87. your music is used in so many tv movie/show-trailers in germany. and really a lot of tracks used are in invincible, guess you made really good choices in selecting tracks for it. everytime i hear a part of your music in a tv-trailer, i cant help myself, im just smiling, thats
just another proof that you guys are the best!!!
